There are many days of being a husband, father, and follower of Jesus that I feel like I’m falling short of who I could be.

The trouble is, I often feel like I don’t know what to do about it. I don’t know how to connect with my child, or challenge my wife or integrate prayer into an insane schedule. And I need help.

With all my heart, I believe that God doesn’t just want to help. He actually offers the answers through the life and teaching of Jesus, the saints and modern day prophets.

So, I go searching for the best way to live and I grapple with potential answers. And that’s what this podcast is all about.

It’s about grappling with the questions and tensions that prevent the modern parent, spouse, and faithful friend of God who wants to rise to the occasion of life.

And it’s about finding the answers spoken by the great mentors of the Catholic faith.

As someone who learns best by externally processing, I’m going to share, for my sake and hopefully yours, what I’m learning and how I’m being challenged to grow each week.

On Monday’s, together we’ll sit at the feet of the Master, learning from Jesus how to live in this world and prepare for the next.

Then on Thursday’s, I’ll explore a question the modern parent, spouse, professional, and/or friend of God is asking. I’ll process live the answer given by a great saint or modern prophet.

Sometimes the Thursday episode will be just me breaking down a concept. But oftentimes, it will be an invterview with an expert on a particular topic or someone who is wrestling with the same question.

It’s my hope that each week, we’ll both leave the conversation better for it and, in the words of St. John Paul II, become more of who we are.
